Competition launched at 3rd Mobile Boot Camp
Participants of the Mobile Boot Camp are invited to submit applications emphasizing the theme: Fostering Local Content through Mobile Technology. The deadline for submission is Friday 30th April 2010. Please submit your applications to Jessica Colaco at: jcolaco@strathmore.edu

Nokia Research East Africa pilots ”Tangaza” during the Mobile Boot Camp at Strathmore University
Tangaza allow people to create networks using simple SMS and voice commands. A person can then send ”tangazas” (updates) to that particular network which can be their family network and others. Download manual for more instructions
Kenya ICT Board CEO opens the Mobile Boot Camp
The 3rd Mobile Boot Camp kicked off on Thursday the 26th of November 2009 at Strathmore University. Mr. Paul Kukubo, CEO, Kenya ICT Board gave the opening speech. The ICT board continues to support the Mobile Boot Camp since its inception in November last year. Read more…
