Kenya ICT Board CEO opens the Mobile Boot Camp
The 3rd Mobile Boot Camp kicked off on Thursday the 26th of November 2009 at Strathmore University. Mr. Paul Kukubo, CEO, Kenya ICT Board gave the opening speech. The ICT board continues to support the Mobile Boot Camp since its inception in November last year.
According to Mr. Kukubo, the ICT Board continues to support the Mobile Boot Camp because it sees the importance of building skills that can lead to entrepreneurship in IT especially on the Mobile Platform. Mr. Kukubo explained that not enough is being done despite this being the 3rd Mobile Boot Camp. He added that a project like the Mobile Boot Camp requires more resources then is available, but according to him the biggest resource is our mind.
